If you don’t like cute kittens, you don’t need to read further:
Most of you know, we had one of our cats pass away from diabetes in March, my cat Joker. He was a good cat who really took on the traits of his name; mainly the anarchy and destruction simply for the fun. His sister, Harley, is still with us and, like her namesake always bounced back from whatever torment Joker was putting her through. Well, we at the Mumblehousehould…or Mumblehold, finally decided the time was right for another cat last week.
A friend of ours, Tammy, had just recently decided to foster some kittens and we decided to check them out “just in case”. So of course, we came home with one. We named her Ivy after Poison Ivy, because all my pets have to be named after Batman characters. Ivy was really confused when we got her home. She was used to 4 brothers and sisters and our cat, Harley, was not pleased about our new addition. I think she’s warming up to us. Like all superhero (or villain) team ups, they will have to fight it out before the greater threat comes after them. Then they will team up to tackle the big bad. All will be well.
- Harley is interested, but not pleased.
- Ivy stayed in the cage when we walked in.
- Ivy came out most on the second day.
- I say something witty.
- Ivy wonders if it is funny.
- She rubs herself on my face in approval. I’m in.
- Ivy gets more adventurous. She also likes to lay on fat things.
- Ivy loves the camera.
- Harley is still not pleased.
- Please no more pictures.
- Alright, one more.
- I want to do one where I glow.
- Now upside down.
- Now from another angle.
- Please no more pictures!
- What? no more pictures?
- I better pretty myself up again.
- Oh, you’re back. How do I look?
- Pettable, right?
- I love the pets.
- Get back here!
- Nevermind, I’m tired anyway…but maybe…
- One more pic won’t hurt, right?

Congrats. Gotta love kittens. Sounds like Harley is reacting the same as Zarniwoop did when we brought Fagin home. Keep us posted.
