Mumblepuss is a real stuffed animal that I gave my wife when we first started dating. Almost like Winnie the Pooh, with a severe attitude problem. Mumblepuss is a bear who’s view on the world is quite skewed, selfish and mean…so kind of like Winnie the Pooh, just completely opposite.

I’ve been reading Mumblepuss for a few months, and have enjoyed clicking back through the older strips. It’s made some impressions: 1) Movies like Twilight really are made for us to enjoy, even if that enjoyment is a condescending mockery of how utterly they suck. Hey, it beats the heartburn that comes with undying hatred! 2) I really miss tabletop gaming.
