Mumblepuss
Mumblepuss is a stuffed bear from the build-a-buddy type franchise. Instead of a heart full of happiness and good times (see Jamie Superbear), something else got inside and made Mumblepuss quite surly.
Some say he’s evil, some say he’s misguided and just needs love. Whatever the case, Mumblepuss always says what is one his little stuffed mind, no matter what the consequences.
Mumblepuss is a bit confused with humans and how they interact with each other. He only understands things from his unique point of view. He believes that comic books are the form of currency that humans use to barter for goods and services because his caretaker (Jamie Fickes) bags and boards comics and throws away money. He likes to throw cupcakes at people because of the way they splatter. He also likes to start flame-wars on various message boards as a hobby. 
Jamie Superbear is Mumblepuss’ sworn enemy. He is an agent of pure chaos and destruction, who is unfortunately, filled with fluff.
Jamie Superbear
Jamie Superbear is filled with happiness and heroic deeds. He is the champion of cupcakes and good times. Jamie Superbear loves to help people in need. He likes to feel needed and special, and most often he does this by playing the role of a Super Buddy. He has managed to develop a few “super powers” such as: flight (levitating), super hearing (slightly better hearing than normal), super speed (he can run pretty fast) and eye beams (he’s been known to turn water from cold to luke warm, in about 3 and a half minutes).
Mumblepuss is Jamie Superbear’s best-friend.
Futzy Muppins
Futzy is the only girl in the house of roudy boys. She likes anything shiny and is obsessed with shopping on the television. She constantly tries to order crazy things but lacks a “credit card”, so she makes up numbers. Sometimes they work. Futzy enjoys making things “sparkle and shine”, and goes out of her way to put glitter or sparklies on everything she owns. Her dream is to one day own a “bedazzler”.
She is Mumblepuss’ girlfriend, a fact that Mumblepuss completely denies.
Twenty-Three Skiddoo
Once a very famous bear from a team of cuddle-bears in the “olden days”, Skidoo has settled into a life of retirement at the Fickes household. He’s older than everyone in the house, a fact that he makes sure no one forgets. He likes to tell war stoties from the likes of the “ww.com’s” and “bay of piggies”.
He’s old fashioned, confused and sometimes curmudgeonly. He wears a pair of stretchy pants he found on the floor.
Skiddo’s body show his age, and he is often losing his button eyes, and his stitching is coming loose. He’s still a fiesty old guy, despite his age.
Ducky P. McFatty
Ducky is an old gaming buddy of Mumblepuss and Jamie Superbear. He is very smart but not great with “social graces”. He’s got a speech impediment that is heriditary for all cartoon ducks in his line. He loves to play tabletop games and is an avid LARPer. He is an accountant by day, and a “duck warrior” on the weekends.
Ducky is married to Penelope P. McFatty and currently has 17 children.
