My first compilation book is almost completed and I am sending it off to the printer this week. You want one? Awesome. I can get you one. I know a guy who knows a guy!
Mumblepuss: Dark Rain will have a color cover and black and white interiors. It is 52 pages (that’s double most comic size, folks.) It features some of my favorite strips from over the past two years as well as commentary by yours truly.
Pricing:
I am asking $5 for the book. If you are interested, there is a page in the book where I can do sketches. I’ll do a sketch in your book for free.
If you want a specific (more in depth)black and white sketch, pop that bad boy up to $10 and I’ll draw one of the characters from my strip as themselves or pretending to be any other character with a personal message to you from Mumblepuss.
Each comic will be sold with a bag and board! WOW. That’s Mylar goodness, people!

Most of you know, we had one of our cats pass away from diabetes in March, my cat Joker. He was a good cat who really took on the traits of his name; mainly the anarchy and destruction simply for the fun. His sister, Harley, is still with us and, like her namesake always bounced back from whatever torment Joker was putting her through. Well, we at the Mumblehousehould…or Mumblehold, finally decided the time was right for another cat last week.
A friend of ours, Tammy, had just recently decided to foster some kittens and we decided to check them out “just in case”. So of course, we came home with one. We named her Ivy after Poison Ivy, because all my pets have to be named after Batman characters. Ivy was really confused when we got her home. She was used to 4 brothers and sisters and our cat, Harley, was not pleased about our new addition. I think she’s warming up to us. Like all superhero (or villain) team ups, they will have to fight it out before the greater threat comes after them. Then they will team up to tackle the big bad. All will be well.

I have a love of Zombies, and Zombies are really “in” right now. I’ve been playing L4D or Left For Dead on PC for a few months now. I started playing quickly again this weekend. We have a motto for our groups…and it’s Burn All Witches. They are super hard to kill and always end up taking the person down who goes after them. That doesn’t stop us, in fact..we rush to have the first honor of killing the witch. That’s how we roll.
I gotta play some more L4D this week!
